Looking for any members that have the Maxsom M45 Mount or a track that has the conduit stiil installed for that system. Tring to find the gauge/type of the wire that ran from the track battery to the slip ring (Packard) mount in the turret base. My cable is missing although he conduit and slip ring are in place. please contact me at : mkoloc44@yahoo.com or via cell phone at: 715-821-9426.

    Thanks,
    Mark

    Default

I recall it being a single conductor, maybe 1-0 gauge. I would use welding lead wire.

    Default

Thank you, that make sense considering the length and the necessity to avoid a significant voltage drop.
Radio wire has to travel that same conduit so size will matter 😏.
