CUCV Door Locks and Ignition Switch

While browsing this forum, I found a post that discussed the door locks and ignition switch. My CUCV had the factory locks and ignition, meaning of course that anyone with a CUCV key could snitch my truck. The post identified a source (GMCPauls Truck Parts) where you can obtain a replacement package that contains the two door locks and the ignition switch, keeyed alike. The parts and shipping were less than $50.00 and were relatively easy to replace. I did have to use the O'Reilly Tool Loan program to borrow the steering wheel puller kit (#67011) to replace the ignition switch. The instructions to do this are seemingly everywhere on YouTube. I now have a non-standard key system for my truck that works great.
