    Default Daimler Ferret MK1

This month has been a roller coaster. Work has been busy. Stuff with the kids. Right now is the Georgia Rally that Clint Copeland hosts. Then there was the scare with Jack (puppy got into rat posion) yesterday. Today I've been trying to pull off a miracle with my trailer, but a wrong part puts it out of commission until next week. I had planned on unveiling the newest vehicle at the rally. But it looks like that's not happening. So here it is. My Daimler Ferret MK1. I've been working on it for a month now or so and it's mobile now. The plan is to pull the transmission out to replace a few seals and clutches. While it's out, I'll paint the interior. And then work the fenders and have the exterior sandblasted for paint. Hopefully come spring I'll have it ready for some car shows and crusing around.

I'm going to probably adapt a hmmwv turret to it and fit it with a self built turret and add a few more extras to it. (NV periscope, air conditioning, 12v accessory circuit, comms, cameras)

Nice find. Being in Georgia and a Mk1, probably a former Canadian Ferret.

Have you tried to contact Taco Bell on here? He is in Dallas and has contact with ferret owners all over the US.

Wouldn't a .50 BMG punch a hole right through one of these? What about .30 AP?
