I thought I would drain the fuel tank on my new 802a but nothing comes out. the p-cock appears to be functional, I can verify it opens and closes. unit came with new filters and diesel that looked and smelled fresh. unit runs ok but like others have noted its vibration issue is work in progress.

Welp time to moves backwards from the petcock to the tank, see where the trouble lies.

Take an air hose and open petcock and blow some air up into the take. Might be a little rust or dirt.

Yup, the 802's are quite often clogged in the hose from tank to the petcock. Blow it back and it should clear it. Once drained you can remove it and clean it out good... might as well replace the tank's well nut since you're already 1/2 way there.
