Glow Plugs

Hey I'm about to start in on replacing my first set of glow plugs on the old green '89 m998 6.2l! I bought some wellman plugs and a BDog custom plug puller (just in case). I have no idea how old the plugs in there are- but the tell to me is more rough, long starts and smoke on startups in the cold, and I figured it should be done anyway. I've read the TM's, watched all the UTude vids I can stand, just looking for some tips to watch out for- or any tricks all of the fellow Steel Soldiers out there may have to make this easier. Thanks in advance. I'm really hoping I'm lucky enough to not have any swelled up too bad. Rock on!

I had some that wouldn’t pull right out, was thinking they were swollen, in fact it was just deposits that I was able to remove by rotating the plug while pulling on it with a teensy vise grip.
