1st pic is of a..... Mack NO 7.5 ton artillery tractor towing an M1 155 mm gun. This same set up appears on page 75 of
'US ARMY VEHICLES of World War Two' by JM. Boniface and JG. Jeudy.
the same set up at Aberdeen Proving Grounds long ago...
