    Sarge,

Please know that you will be in my family's prayers. You are one of the most increadible and giving people I have ever known of. As stated above, time will help heal; and know that you will have all of us should the need arise.
Thank you Sarge, for all you have done.

I've read this story a few times, and I always get chills reading it again. I know this is an old thread, thought it would be a good time to bring it up again.

    DECEMBER 13TH, 2009.

    Gents:

I haven't heard too much from Sarge since he tried to bring that Marine Corps Kawasaki back from CA a while back. I hope he's OK, and he should be in line for beatification, just tell the story to the President and he'll get Sarge cannonized. I was impressed when he did the "right thing" back in 2005, and if more of us used our trucks for work like that, we'd get better press then we do. I am certaiin that there are more of us here that could do good works if we had the opportunity. Unfortunately, my old girl doesn't have the fording kit, but if I ever find one, she's gonna be a kissing cousing to a submarine.

My thumb's up for Sarge.... just hope he crawls out of his scriptum sanctorum and lets the rest of us know what he's up to.....

    Cheers,

    Kyle F. McGrogan

I had tea with the man a few hours ago, he IS alive and he IS doing well! He is also busier than a one armed paper hanger! He is building a shop and that has occupied his time and mind and kept him off of SS.

Sarge is a heroic individual in all possible ways and every time I spend time around him I find even more evidence. Today it was a little bit of his experiences at Ramstein, the day the Italian Air Force had their accident...

I hope someday someone will think I am as good a person as I think he is.
