Army Radio Sales Co. carries the VIC-1 vehicle intercom used in the Deuce, I'm hoping to pick one up one of these days. Don't know myself about the radio, but I'd imagine if you got ahold of them they would be able to steer you in the right direction.

Lets see, You can use the RT/524 or the RT/246 both of which fit right on the MT1029 mount. You can also pick up the AM2060 amplifier which slips right into the mount and use the PRC/25 and PRC/77 radios as well. Both PRCs are man portable with proper equipment. The RT radios have a high power setting that increases range. Also look at the AS/1729 antenna system which is a 10' fiberglass whip. All of this is compatible with the VIC/1 intercom system too. The RT/246 can also be controlled via control box on the dash. All 4 of these radios operate from 25 to 77 MHZ which require a HAM license by FCC regs.

Gee Wiz, whats the FCC? I like my Motorola MX-350 handhelds! Just so happens they are DES "SECURENET" Encrypted! Talk all day and all they hear is stadic <img src="emoticons/icon_smile_shrug.gif" alt="Shrug"> Highest level of encryption allowed by law<img src="emoticons/icon_smile_shock.gif" alt="Shock"><img src="emoticons/icon_smile_wink.gif" alt="Wink">
