Another Mighty Mite

Picked up a second Mite this past weekend. This one is actually all put together & it runs! Needs paint & some work.
Although I saw these in VietNam, & have been assembling one for a couple of months, Sunday was the first time I ever drove one.
Kinda like a BIG go-kart!
Had to put it in storage until I get "M1" put together, but I'll try to get some pics to post.

I have a 1962 M422a1 and had it up ot 62 mph !!

Boy...these two have a long way to go!! One of our members bought them today and we brought them back to the compound. One is SUPPOSED to run but he didn't bother checking.
Now he has 3 to put at least one good one together!

PB, make sure your buddy has the contact info for Sam Werner in Tracy City TN. He has a HUGE amount of mighty mite parts and rebuilders. Also has, if I remember correctly, mighty mite #6 sitting out back on a few oil drums awaiting rebuild.

Id love to get into the Mighty Mites. Sounds like a fun MV .

I have always wanted one of those little critters. but with all the other things I want I doubt I will ever be able to.

I love my Mite! It's amazing where it will go.

Mighty Mites are great - just don't be too tall or too round or you won't fit behind the wheel. My dad has had his M422 (not an A1) since 1974.

I'm 6'-2" and I have no problem fitting in my M422A1. My knees are up high but it's not uncomfortable.

You're right, it's the too round part that is a bigger problem. I'm not there yet
