Howdy all, trying to find some SD members near Springfield, SD that would be able to pick up a M1008 CUCV at a offpost maintance shop and be able to store it for a couple of days till I can get back out that way. The bad is it doesnt have a front axle and the rear has no tires. Any help would be much appreciated an can compensate for gas and time to get it, I just dont want to keep paying this guy 20 bucks a day for storage. If anyone can help you can pm me for the details. I live 30 miles away from Springfield and am a personal friend of jim burke at the prison. I just finished hauling my deuces and equipment from there last weekend. The only problem I have is no lifting assets to get your pickup. I do have a car trailer, but no way to unload it once I would get it home. I might be able to get the body shop guys there to let me borrow their loader to pickup your truck and load it only my trailer. Where is it located at?
