m1009 gen lights

hey all i got a m1009 a few weeks ago when i gto it i put new batterys in it right away cause it needed them bad. everything was working grate. now last week my starter went out and ever sence then my GEN 2 light wont go off. any ides would be grate thanks Ryan

Something in the alternator popped... have it checked out by a good automotive electrical place that rebuilds starters and alternators. Probably just needs the diodes replaced or something simple.
