Does my 1008 take dot 5 brake fluid ? Where can I buy the correct vinyl paint for my 1008 dash & door panels ?

Brake Fluid
- Fluid is DOT5 silicone only. CAUTION: Some of these vehicles may have been filled with DOT3. There are numerous arguments for using either kind. However, do NOT mix them.
- Level should be ¼” below lowest edge of each filler opening in master cylinder

Any good auto paint store should handle the dye, or LMC truck. Or you can go by your local auto paint place and ask then where they get theirs.

If you read the info on the top of your master cylinder cover, it clearly states, use dot5 only.
