This is the part no. BEU-228L-100 12V, GREY Pop it in google. The main thing you are looking for is size. most are to deep as the deuce has a sallow dash. Controls on unit would be nice also.

Cut one of the old tires in half, was curious of how they were built.

    20160927_154305.jpg

Mounted four more tires with good tread. Years ago I bought this 3/4 drive electric impact. I keep it in the truck. A lot easier to plug it into the power inverter than wait for the air tanks to pump up.

And then there is this tank heater I installed. I hope that it makes the truck a little more responsive when its cold out. The warm oil should flow through the filters better. For those that don't know Its going on five years of running 100% used oil. It's still my daily driver.

The in tank fuel pump went out. This is what you will find in you tank after four years of daily driving
running 100% used oils for fuel. It's a silky sludge that with just a little help went right through the drain hole.

Well one good thing about using used engine oil. You have no rust in your tank !!!
Do you have some kind of "prefiltering" of your oil ? Like it goes through a filter into a 55 gallon drum, then gets pumped into your fuel tank ? I was thinking about doing something like that for mine. I have hundreds of gallons of used engine oil saved up and plan on using it in the deuce someday. Of course with diesel so low in todays economy it is not worth doing right now.

I use to filter it through a 5 micron shock filter then into a barrel to be pumped through a filter and a water blocker. I now just dump it in a barrel and pump it through a water separating fuel filter. I save the used ones off my truck and run them until they plug up. (I have change of course over to spin on filters)
I use to cut the filters apart and found really no differences just going through one filter compared to three. The fine soot just goes through them all

I guess the centrifuge cleaner is the way to go then. Costs to much for me right now though.

Also started a access cover for the shower faucet.

My frig is freezing on 110 volts so that's the next project. I want to repair it because I like having the vintage stuff.

If any of you happen to have a wiring diagram for a Dometic RM 45 frig please let me know.

Wow. Just wow. Really impressive work, mobileauto2000. I showed some of the pictures to my 17 y o son, and he currently busy with graph paper, working up plans for "his" Deuce. Once again, impressive work!

Tested the house battery's and they were down to 50%. I checked the output from the charger inverter. It was 9 volts.

Pulled the inverter out and looked through the vents and saw this.20190809_111808.jpg

I cut an access hole and soldered the wire back on. No change still 9 volts coming out.
    20190809_111624.jpg
The truck also has a solar panel. When I put it in I used a cheap solar charge controller. Think it cost like nine dollars. Pulled the panel wires and tested the voltage. It was at Nineteen volts. So I ordered a new controller.

I installed the new controller and a volt amp display. Hooked up the solar panel and the output was only 9 volts. Whats up with the 9 volts anyway?20190810_124508.jpg

I went around the corned to Harbor freight and bought one 25 watt solar panel for testing the wiring and controller.
    20190811_090527.jpg
hooked it up and the battery's were charging. Yay.

Next went on amazon and ordered a new charger inverter and a 100 watt solar panel. Installed them both and my battery's are charged and happy

A foot note on the Harbor Freight solar panel They are over priced but work well in low light conditions.
