I know my DMV keeps the SF-97 form when I title a truck. Maybe it's best just to keep quiet and let it ride with the wrong digit.

Cool, my 2 favorite deuce guys... SGTSTEWART (who sold me the truck), and Tie6044 who always has the spare/replacement parts I need. I'll head down the SF97 correction path until I hit too many walls in which case I'll go with the quiet route and/or new data plate.

Tie has got it right. After the run around I got with the DMV saing that i don't need the sf97, the state can issue a title. Then a couple of months go by and the state informs me that I do need the sf97 after all. I seen that it was one number off but I didnt need the hassle. I will see what I can do about form for you
