I don't see losing the extra rear axle if you don't want to make the truck smaller....you lose the load capability and the walking beam suspension when you do that mod.

You would lose some weight but turning radius would not be improved much, if all.

NOTE: The idea was more for looks than performance changes.

I started mine with that plan but one morning I woke up and the rear hubs were flipped and it had a set of 395's on Hemtt's Go figure!
