I missed last years Ga rally, but like your Taj support bike upgrade. To me my M1030 (KLR250) is much more enjoyable than the M1030B1.

Unfortunately I missed the rally as well.
I agree that the m1030 Is more enjoyable to ride than the 650, especially on the trails!

So I've been working on getting everything together to install a rooftop air conditioner, the unit is a 15k Coleman that's slightly used I picked up for $200.00 which included a new ceiling assembly with controls, wanted to go with a mini split but just no place to put the inside blower assembly so a rooftop it is.
The front wall 12k btu window shaker never cooled the place efficiently because of poor circulation to the back, and I think it's about to bite the dust soon.
The new unit will be located near the center of the trailer and will lend to much improved performance.
I used 2"x2" aluminum heavy wall square tubing to build the ceiling support frame and 2"x1" rectangular for the 1" high curb frame on the roof, this curb will prevent any water leaks from occurring, hopefully.
I'll take some pics of the install and post them when complete.20190326_100249.jpg20190325_183813.jpg20190320_212251.jpg20190320_212237.jpg20190320_163420.jpg

I saved the best for last!
Here's the understorage bed frame assembly finally built.
Organized clothing and general storage has always been an issue, this bed assembly solves that problem completely. Incorporated is storage in the front footboard, a large area under the bed accessible by lifting the mattress frame or through the back door and large pullout drawers.
Total time to build, install and paint, about 40 hrs.IMG_20190223_170228.jpgIMG_20190223_170130.jpg20190325_190105.jpgIMG_20190212_192534.jpgIMG_20190209_130319.jpgIMG_20190209_130327.jpgIMG_20190208_153723.jpgIMG_20190204_162918.jpg

Ray, awesome install! Like a Pro!!

May I ask why you off-centered it? Better coverage of living space? Thanks for sharing, did miss "crane trk" photos..lol

Thank you Sir, thank you all!
Placement off center is to allow circulation into the kitchen and if the bathroom door is open it blows in there as well, aesthetics were taken into consideration also!20190401_155541.jpg

Looks good Ray. That 15k should make it an ice box in there.
What are you painting your roof with?
Just finished connecting wire to the breaker, unit running on low cool and working nicely, it's a little loud, but that's the sound of comfort!
Today's forecast is 89°, a good test for the new unit!
The roof coating is an elastomeric roof coating, I thought I'd paint the install area and do the rest later.
