Tapping 12v from a 24V

My M715 has two group 27 12v batteries to make up the 24v the systems needs. my question is .... is it detrimentral to battery life or the charging circuit to tap 12v off for such things as CB radio, lights, ( stereo) ... just kidding single speaker AM only
