I've been on SS for a couple years and feel like a newbie once again. Now that I'm diving into the family of 5 tons, I find myself searching for posts related to PMCS. So far I haven't found too much in the way of parts listings. With the huge influx of M939 family trucks hitting the market, I felt it fitting to start this thread. Looking to have this thread as a catch all for Filters, Belts, Seals, and whatever parts we need to get for PCMS. I know many of the parts are the same as with the M809 series trucks. However, not having owned a M809 I have no idea what to look for. I see there is a thread dealing with the M939A2's, but nothing for the A0 or A1.
Does anyone have the NAPA numbers for the belts, filters, seals, hoses etc.
Eriks does carry many parts but wanted the local part numbers for those got to have it now scenarios.

Thought I'd take the bull by the horns and try and get some links together;-)

M939 Control box "black box"

Not really a PMCS part but seems to be a part you need to have on hand for a spare.
Part number 14442546
NSN 6110-01-444-2546

Found this control box on a very popular e- site for $131 w/free shipping. Do a search using the NSN;-) It is actually sold by the manufacturer for the military.

That's a lot of information to have to weed through to get some answers although it is great having a catch all. I know I am currently looking for what fluids to use. I'm going to put it in my mighty 5 ton parts search database plus I need to know what I will need to bring for my recovery. I will try to work on finding that info and placing it in here and the 5 ton wiki unless someone beats me to it :)

There is a ton of info to weed through. I started this thread because I too wanted to know what to bring to a recovery. However, I kept finding threads.....that's why the links started to stack like they did;-). I have not yet recovered my 5 ton. Still waiting for the owner to get the SF97.

Looks like we are in the same boat :) But unlike you I'm waiting on the take forever EUC. Seems they keep taking longer since my first one but it has been 2 years since my last one. I'm going to keep weeding through all this info.... there is a ton of and its good but just a pain to keep up with :)
