pinion seal

I replaced a couple of pinion seals on my M818 and used an impact wrench to remove and reinstall the pinion nut. The parts will be different for a M35 but the process is the same.

Don't forget some of these original seals were leaking for years and semi rusted in the flange. And the procedure of "pull the yoke then just pull the seal out and replace" doesn't work. Sometimes you have to take the housing off the axle and cuss it out.....with a hammer while trying not to Mar the seal seat. $#@! All better now.
