LDT-465-1C vs. LDT-465-1D. What's the difference?

if you do get a spec sheet from the manufacturer, please convert that to a pdf and see if it can be posted permanently. I would like to know this specific information and have it on hand.

Per this 1990 Ordnance document, the only difference is D engines have had the FDC bypassed:

Well someone must have updated my 1970 with a newer motor. The data plate on my Hecules is a LDT 465-1D Part number 12354301 So are the head gaskets the same or are they different. I know I have the older style with the tabs sticking out. This summer I am changing to the new gasket so if they are different better be calling big Mike

So after reading the thread I see no mention of the 1D being made by Continental, but what I am really wanting to know is will the 1C TM manuals be of any use if I have a 1D? Since I didn't find any 1D TM's in the TM section.

The answer is yes, except for the turbo itself.
