A bit late, but hopefully better than never -
The heavy towbar 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" pin feet (NSN 5340-01-267-2908 P/N 12322662) have a gap of 1-3/4" between the ears.
The MTVR Towbar foot (NSN 2540-01-500-5325 P/N 3406259) does not have a 1-3/4" gap, it is more like 1-1/2".
