I've hauled several beds on U-haul car trailers by putting bales of straw in the tracks and setting the bed on top. Those trailers track right and are low, making the trips very----non-memorable. Surge brakes work, lights and tires are usually good. The rent cost is lower if you return it where you got it, not a one way trip.

Good luck finding a bed, someone that made a bobber is setting with a reasonable surplus one, but you may have to travel.

You might want to specify if the sides need to fold down....they load easier.

this is a picture of a box I have and do not need, it has two sets of sides/seats; both wood and fiberglass. If you are still in need I can get more pics.
