I have been searching for the cause of this problem for weeks. I was getting 55 VAC on all the DC supply voltage. It was causing my remote start to latch the pre heat and not shut it off. Well as it turns out it was a bad charging alternator. Even though it was charging the batteries and reducing the charge down after start. You would never think anything was wrong. So guys check your DC for presence of AC. A special thanks goes out to Kurt Klopp and his generator geru who said it was the alternator. My. Genset is MEP 803a.
