My actuator seemed fine as per the Maradyne TM. The steering was very weak.
I took the air cylinder apart and the components were in bad shape. The bore was Ok except for some very
mild pitting in the center where the piston would rest.
I used a micrometer to measure the rubber seal for the 5" bore.
Off to the interwebs to find a new one.
Sorry for no pics of the new seal as it was delivered at 4:30 PM and I was determined to
see if it would help my steering, so from the box to the truck it went.
The new seal was identical to the old.
My Air Assist steering is so much better than it was. Still struggles to turn my big wheels
at a stand still but steering is 10X better when underway.

I found the seal at MFP Seals, Troy MI (mfpseals.com)
Part# PCD-500 Double Acting Piston Cup 5" $42.00 plus shipping.

Steering is vital to safe driving. This part replacement helped mine.
Always follow the TMs on this site when diagnosing and repairing your trucks.
Torque specs are critical for a sound installation. Always use caution when
replacing any steering component. A loss of steering can be catastrophic.

Thanks for the right up. Ammo should be stored in a strong can or ammo can and not in the garage where there are a lot of accelerants.

Thanks for the tip on the ammo. You are quite observant.
However those boxes are filled with spent casings waiting for reloading.
I keep all my ammo locked in my ...........nevermind (OPSEC).
