Bypassing ballast resistor

I am installing a Pertronix Ignitor 11 solid state ignition system in my 880. It says to bypass the ballast resistor. How do I bypass the resistor?

Do I just splice together wires from the auxiliary prongs
and splice together wires from the normal prongs?
