Deuce got trucked to parade yesterday

Did a parade yesterday in Canon City, CO which is about 60 miles of state highway drive at least, each way from here.
My friend's fire engine that he got this past winter has a top speed of 45 mph due to the way it is geared in the rear axle so he borrowed this drop deck trailer from a friend and used his Kenworth tractor to haul us.
I gave him money for fuel and saved wear on my vehicle. Great weather, everything went well

Very cool! Yeah, sometimes when that method of transport is available to you, it is a much better, safer way of getting these things places. Would suck to miss out on the parade because something happened to your truck on the way there. I've got an equipment trailer I pull behind my Kenworth to haul mine around to places now and then too.

I have been down that stretch of interstate, and while its has great beauty, doing 45 in a 80 would end horribly. Glad to see yall made a good choice. Those pics make me want to come back to CO.
