I know it is an AR but I think we need to ensure members have a resource to help them with professional letters.

I'll also add this:

1. First paragraph introduce yourself and a one over the world of why you are writing the letter.
2. Second paragraph give the events
3. Additional paragraphs give more details as needed
4. Next to last paragraph asks for a specific action.
5. Last paragraph provide closing with email address and phone number.
6. Leave your emotion out of letters. State the facts, stay on point, don't make threats (to include "I'll never attend again").
7. Check your spelling and context such as "I were with Jim Bob and Billy and we was going to ....".
8. If you have any concern, get someone that has no clue about what you are writing about read it. It has to make sense to them.

Could probably throw in a could dozen other helpful hints but there's a start.
