I am in the process of mounting my heater on the passenger side under the glovebox. Borrowing from this thread by Ridgerunner, and this post by jwentz57, I am cutting down my heater box to be about 6 inches shorter than stock. Rather than cut the original box and try to get all the cuts straight, plus re-drill holes, I am going to get new sheetmetal laser cut. Additionally, I will be making brackets to mount the heater. So I wanted to see, is there any interest in the shorter sheetmetal and brackets? The brackets will only work with a shortened heater box. I estimate cost to be about $45 for brackets and the sheetmetal, in bare steel, you prime and paint.
