Garwood 20k winch hydraulic motor specs

I have a 20,000lb Garwood winch with hydraulic motor and adapter. Could anyone please tell me the correct original Flow rate GPM and pressure PSI that these motors run on. I am trying to adapt the setup to run off a Cat loader with 3000 psi and 32 gpm and I imagine will need to regulate flow snd pressure.

The pump specs for the stock M35A3 hydraulic pump are

GPM 13 @1000RPM
Max RPM 3000
Inlet Port Sixe 1"
Rotation Counterclockwise
Max Pressure 3500PSI
shaft size 3/4 11 SPL
Outlet Port size 1" STR THD


The stock hydraulic motor is - Parker 113A-106-AS-0, 10.6 cid, SAE A-2 bolt pattern, shaft: 1 1/4" dia. with 5/16" keyway.

The m35a3 has a 10000 pound winch with a smaller motor than the 20000 pound winch.

The 20k winch motor is national stock number 4320-01-137-6293. Eaton 109-1094-006.

So I will not need to regulate the glow rate just adjust the auxiliary hydraulic circuit down to 1850 psi ? The Cat hydraulic circuits can be adjusted for PSI thankfully!

Yes, 1850 is max high end spec, be careful, best to shoot for 1750 for varying conditions, oil temp ect... if the winch wont pull it at 1750, you need to double line, or pay more cable out to get on the inner layers, or both. I run a gauge on mine by my controller so I can always tell where I’m at.

the motor, according to specs is rated at 3000psi, so I would guess the lower pressure set up is to avoid too much torque that would break something in the winch or the cable.
Unfortunately the spec plate on the motor is unreadable so not sure of make or model otherwise I could look up the specs and wirk around it. Seems reasonable to start out at 1800 psi and take it from there.
Here is a pic of the motor if snyone vould identify would be great!

See post #10 and look at the site. it "looks" exactly the same with the offset ports. it is exactly the same part # as Black Ops posted in post # 3. So If the splines/or keyway is the same as the one in your pic (cant see them) then you should be good to go. Personally, I would try to find a aftermarket one with the same exact spline and bolt flange, and live with a little bit different torque In/lbs and flow (rpms) for half the co$t. Good luck!
