My sons and I got to use the winch last Saturday after I slid my pickup sideways. I usually park my pickup by backing into the woods, but there is a bit of a sideways slant to the terrain, and I have to be careful not to spin the tires or the backend will go downhill. Last Saturday I was in too big of a hurry and managed to slide up against not one but 2 trees.
Not to worry. It gave us an excuse to play with the winch. We hooked the winch cable up and pulled the truck a few feet sideways and out came the pickup. I ended up with a dent just in front of the door and a brown colored scrape along the bed.
I haven't posted pics on the new site yet so I hope this works.
Okay, I have tried twice and no luck posting pics. Help?
