I just picked up a 10K diesel genset. It runs great but when i disconnect the slave cable it dies. The DC side doesen't charge the batteries. I found a box behind the panel that appears to be a recitifer for the 24v. Where can i find one of these? Could there be another problem? Thanks.

I seem to remember there was a fuse somewhere on there. 20 amps i believe. Not in the regular place to find a fuse. They used to go all the time.

If I remember right ( I'm to lazy to go out and check) There's a fuse by the regulator which is mounted on the blower shroud right next to the oil filter.

Thanks guys. That was it. The fuse cap was laying between the oil filter and the shroud. I got a fuse, put it back on and it charges great. Thanks again!
