Any big truck shop, peterbilt, kw, freightliner, will have mpu. Its a speed sensor for speedometer. Take old one with you.

155,

Quick question:

I ordered a new unit from BBay; part number MSP6729
Right out of the package it tested at 323 OHM
Once installed, I tested it behind the control panel per the TM at wires 16&17; it also tested at 323 OHM.
It also read 3.1v AC when dead cranking.
Also, no start, Not even a puff of white smoke. No fuel moving in the lines. I cracked one open to check.

The TM says a "good" MPU should test at 800-900 OHM.

My old, damaged MPU tested at 700 OHM.

Is it possible that these come in differing resistance levels? I don't want to throw away another $30 on one that doesn't meet specs.

Hoping to get it right this time.

Thoughts?
