Work is starting back up again after getting more parts
Front axle is next got new seals and boots

Also got the right and rare muffler for the M275 gassers the exhaust system for this truck was the hardest thing to find but its almost done. I will install this tomorrow. I want to say ty to red river parts for having the muffler, and Memphis equipment for having the exhaust pipe to the muffler, and White owl for having the gaskets. I tryed eastern surplus but they jacked me around for 3 weeks and still havent got a response back.20180504_183012.jpg20180504_183028.jpg

Good old "Bendix" (Carl Weiss) universal joint axles. According to some axle experts they are considered the best axle joint ever made. I do know for a fact that several racing companies that make parts for the Rockwell axle sell a "Bendix" axle for several thousand dollars ! It is considered the best of the best ! I say just get an old axle and run it ! Of course I myself love the "Spicer" (Hooke) universal joint as it is the easiest to repair.
