Hey guys!

We are having a mudbog down here in Socorro on April 13th 2013! How about we have a rally the same day? As a part of the planning we are talking about making an MV class for the mudbog event to really stir up the pit for the modified and super-modified guys. We have not updated the event website : http://infohost.nmt.edu/~offroad/mudbog/ but additional information should be available/posted soon.

Who would want to come down to watch some trucks get muddy and then go for a cruise afterwards? We could do some photo op-s along the way. I was thinking that a cruise through the local canyons or out to the local 4x4 park would be nice. Photos of both locations can be found here:

Let's actually get a rally together in the state! This is your chance to show off your rigs to a plethora of people, educate them about the hobby, connect, and enjoy the spring weather down here in the southwest! LETS DO IT!:-D

I should be back from Chile by then, but not sure I'll be able to stick around NM until the 13th. I suspect one of my Kristis would out bog anything there, just won't break any records for speed! Alas, I have no MVs in NM. Guess I'll have to be JAFO. :-|

So the mud bog is down the explosives road just past PASSCAL? Tech pumps in water for that?

The off road club pays for the use of MRO's water tender to fill the pit. It gets topped off every day for about a week before the event. I think they use one of the hydraunts near IRIS to fill the tender before trucking it out to the site.

Not really game to take the truck mudding (took weeks to get all the mud cleaned off!) but a get together and cruise sounds great! Not 100% sure my brother and I can make it yet, but we'll try!
