$7,000 for an m1009 is pretty steep. Thats about 4 times what I paid for mine.

But then again, It is not nearly as clean as the alfa heaven ones.

The way I see it, you could spend $2K on a 1009/1008 through GL, that leaves $5K to spend on repair/restoration, if that's your thing. Heck, I only paid $3K for my 1009 through eBay, and it's basically rust-free. Paint's faded, needs new rubber all the way around, steering needs work next. I can fix all those things without too much effort.

Though, if you want something nice and showy, go for Alpha Heaven.

I would say Alpha is great at the body work... making them LOOK pretty...

But from what I have heard, their mechanical side usually misses 'something'. It appears the paint them up nice and put nice tires on, and fix whats OBIVIOUSLY wrong with it, nothing else.
