April 2020 will mark the 45th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War for America. Only a handful of cities and towns have honored the Vietnam Veterans with the “Welcome Home” they deserved after the way they were treated by the general public on their return from only “doing their job” as they were called to do. As of 2018 the Vietnam Veterans are passing at a faster rate than the surviving WWII Veterans because of “Agent Orange” complications. So lets give them the “Welcome Home” they so richly deserve. On Saturday, March 28 2020, we will honor them with a parade and a ceremony at the Vietnam Wall of Southwest Florida, located in beautiful Punta Gorda, Florida. The ceremony will be followed A Special Concert by the One and Only Lee Greenwood. So plan to stay for just a bit or all day - either way, we got you covered. This is our chance to honor and celebrate the sacrifices made by our nation’s heroes military, law enforcement, firefighters and first responders.
