I know you already got some, but I use these like the military did. Have had the same set in the first generator I went though & they still go strong. 5 years old at the time I'm making this post & still past the test no problem.

No doubt that the one here meets both of those. The frame is from the 60's. Realistically, it's very sturdy. Makes sense why so many all the sudden made their way to auction.

Changed the tail lights to LED assemblies. Found one bad wire & ran a new one.
Started mounting some new brake parts.
Got all the needed new plumbing.

I've been having a lot of trouble finding a new vendor to keep these in stock! The one I used, right after a few orders, all prices went WAY up & these kits would have tripled. Trying hard to get some in.
It was a long while ago I did that, so it's hard to remember. I recall it not being fun lining things up. Wrenches learned to fly, but that common place here. :p

Looked it up before posting. I got a bunch of Carter branded ones that are USA origin apparently.
