    That's kind of what I thought, that's crazy because this professional installer said oh no that's to deflect the water away, he cut in the standard lock strip into the opening. I just ordered a new gasket lock strip from summit precision brand. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

    I ran #6 wire 115' run. Run single phase 120/240 . Only running Necessary equipment for storm condition, rated nameplate of generator. Also disconnecting the bar ground in generator and running ground of house connection. That's what l did. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
