[thumbzup]Sorry Mate, I will go and take some pics down at the museum and post them up. But Gerhard lugged a few metres of genuine US canvas so as I could re-cover and upholster the cab seats ! He also got me a bottom rail and fittimgs so that i could re-build the drivers side window !
:-D Hello Guys long time no see, but had to report in and say a Big Thankyou to Gringetraube !!! The canvas is fully fitted and oh those seats look good !!! Thanks Mate:jumpin:
Hello Gerhard,
good to hear from you Mate !

hope to see you soon here in the North of England !
all good wishes Mate
John
i didn't know what one was till I came upon this Site !, anyway I guess it's just me wanting to get every last piece of equipment for My Beloved M35 !anyway I need to get some wheel chocks, an axe for the pioneer rack plus some other bits and pieces the list never ends.....
Many thanks for your help Men !
I guess I had better not get excited till I try it tomorow, hope it fits I am at a Rally all day :driver:for Troop Aid run by the local Car Club
I have just been offered a troop strap , un used and in it's original box but has Dodge replacement part printed on box...would it be the same spec strap as the Reo ? on quick inspection it looks the same as the ones in pics on various gl sites etc anyway this is the original fibre type not...
People thought I was crazy driving mine home (205 miles) You have a lot to consider especialy Tyres, your first contact with the road ! I bet the batteries are just about fuba'd and the fuel maybe past it's best ? Oh the joys of the Big Green Machine !
Good luck Mate
No Defence needed Buddy, just had my quote for recovering with military grade canvas... just picked myself up off the floor £200 plus tax oh and I have to wait 6 weeks because they are so busy !!
you may think it a stupid question but what does ODG stand for ?:-?
Thanks for the encouragement on this use of rollers, while I still have the old canvas I am going to stick with the single green with white decals, however in the future I would like to go onto the three colour camo look and will have to beg some spray booth time in the Hangar !
Please excuse my feeble ignorance but does anyone use a roller to paint ? over here space is always hard to find especialy under cover, a lot of the MV men have gone over to rolling on the paint8-)
I feel so much better now I know SS members use stripey crew seat covers !
Mine look like raghead prayer mats, however they do prevent me from carrying out my own vasectomy without anasthaetic I guess !rofl
I am going to have to teach myself how to take better pics, **** camera didn't...
Completely agree with you ! I did a show last saturday had a whole family climb in the cab !! didn't ask just climbed in !
didn't like my impolite request to get out and go forth and multiply !!
Sunday I had to ask three different people to not cross the safety barrier and climb on...
Absolutely Brilliant Gerhard ! spot on Mate, right then off to the Museum saturday and try and scrouge some spare metal for practice !!!
Thanks Guys for your input much appreciated !!
