    Lmtv registration in IL ?

    Hello all : I'm thinking about building an overlandee out of an lmtv and I'm in IL. I read about the 17 digit vins on 80s trucks. I'd be probably a mid 90's has the vin changed on those? Does anyone have any experience? Thanks
