A 12v relay is going to use a 12v coil and expect a maximum of probably 16v. Sending 24v (or 28v when running) to the coil will almost certainly damage the coil. Maybe not the first time........ but maybe the first time!

No. As with many things in A1R life it is not the correct flasher. The A1R uses an LED capable flasher module. It does say it's LED compatible but it doesn't look like the ones I'm used to.

A1R's like this already have headliners (even on the turret cover), sprayed on insulation in the cab interior walls, and insulation under the dog-house. As I said they don't really need much help in these areas - not as much as older trucks. It's not where my focus would be for a drive home.

Find a used FMTV wheel from a surplus dismantler. The alternatives are costly unless you want a Chinese Dorman unit for a semi tractor. Smaller and cheaper construction and doesn't fit the aesthetic at all.
