    Hand turn Sheppard steering gear?

That gear has specific instructions for installation, do not turn the input shaft while it’s out of the truck. This gear uses a sesctor shaft, turning it to far in either direction can cause issues.

    Do you own a 4 speed R1?

the difference of a 4L80 and 4L85 is “5”, it means nothing…the 80e isn’t mfg’d any longer at GEP, the 85e is just an update. for Hmmwv’s this really means nothing because the TD only Puts out 190-200HP. These updates were really more for Civilian application vehicles. Some of these differences...

    help with run flat tool

I have that tool and it’s the best one made…been using it for years, there is a roll pin meant to shear off, thats why it builds no tension. Make sure to use grease on the worm gear once you fix it. The roll pin is on the large gear shaft, the gear is spinning on the shaft, the bitch is getting...

    Polaris MRZR-D4

Well, based on the information from PS magazine, they are unit acquired directly from Polaris Defense….kinda the same way SOCOM units buy what they need to support the mission.

First time Humvee owner, lifetime admirer w/ a Q...

Im not sure how to answer this question, but let me try and understand this….so only a hmmwv with a Hydraulic fan clutch can ford water crossings? any other tactical vehicle just waits for the engineers to show up and build a bridge? All tactical vehicles are left on the Landing craft except for...

What to do with old Armasafe batteries?

I will try this…I just donated probably 10 or more AGM Hawkers. The interstate dealer requires a one for one core swap, if you don’t have a like for like, its 2 standard lead acid car batteries per one 6TL. Ive recovered Hawkers in the past, unfortunately they won’t hold a load, i used an older...
