Did some digging.............. and in the Van world, as in auto, it's called L Track or Versa Tie and the like the stuff!! If you want to take a minute and look back at the 1165's that sold out of GA. on 4/24 and look closely at the cargo floor and the doghouse between the seats. I hate to...
FYI ,yall..... been lurking here for years, did not realize you could pay with PAYPAL until a while back. I have an aversion to paying with my CC over the net as I think many would. It needs to be pointed out that PAYPAL is accepted.
FANTASTIC work! May I ask, is this AL, and are you using Pro CAD software or "consumer grade" details, details........ Also tell the guys from ATF I said HI when they drop by.
The correct tool also helps with tie rods. Hint "it's not a pipe wrench" . They actually make a tire rod wrench that hooks into the split in the end of the tie rod helping to "open" it as pressure is applied. They are not too expensive for occasional use quality. Just my 2 cents.
Had to fabricate a bracket for the solenoids, and took an angle grinder to the lower edge of the mount where the cable comes through in case it bound up and drug across the edge.
Hope this helps.
For future reference, the Mile Marker 12000 hydraulic winch works great on the rear mount, motor mounts to the right side and the "factory hoses" reach just fine. Tickled with mine!
Bu cutting your strap off so there is just enough to complete the loop and "lock" itself when it is ratcheted it gives you more room on the ratchet to pull it up further. Just my 2 cents.
NOW.........................Please explain your method of setting the thrust angle......................Inquiring minds want to know??? Me, I'm just curious.
A: Concordia was in reference to your tires. From time to time I've seen hundreds of them stacked outside.
B: They don't make them any better than Steve.
My 2 cents.
Once upon a time we had a guy on here that did a cutdown walk thru..... or maybe another site.... the 4 man is rare and $$$. He did great work, a very accomplished fabricator.
