Here is a schematic with a winch, not too hard to figure out what it would be like without, but yes there are two returns to the reservoir. Without the winch there is just a single high pressure line going from the hydro-boost to the steering gear.

What are the specs on that engine? gear ratios of the trans? not like that V12 would have any issues with RPM ;)
