    M37 windshield removal question

    A flexible hose and a clamp, the hose goes to the vacuum source. Removal of the nuts was accomplished with a box wrench and a ratchet, all of the suppliers carry the large bolt as well as the ninety plumbing vacuum tube. Hinge/pivot bolt.

    I would add a ceramic ballast as well in line with the hot wire, cheap and a good investment. Mine is in line with the ignition.

    It is indeed a struggle, I'd use a block of wood and work your way back and forth. I had to run a steel rod through mine and one end was actually crushed.

    It looks like the panel that is underneath the mechanical fuel pump, and it attaches to the inner fender well, I think they are removed for service and seldom re-installed, as said earlier? I've got one sitting around as well.
