Well...no we didn't///ugh I Know we probably should have...it's outside with no wind plus I am using a HVLP gun that has 17 lbs of pressure so really no mist at all even with max paint on a 1.8 gun. In my younger years with the guns that ran a lot more pressure I wore everything. Yeah it was...
It's an Alkyd based...we did it outside in the morning with the nice wet grass and no bugs!! I thinned it a touch with acetone but that was it. It did take a while to dry for sure but that's ok. Was barely 60 out maybe 70 tops and low humidity. The paint was dated from 2001! It really did mix...
One thing I would look at is what type of charger maintainer you get. Some like the NOCO work well with the lead acid as they do have a desulfate in the low charge maintain setup. If you have the lead acid it probably wouldn't hurt to check acid level as well. Brand isn't a very big deal with...
I poured 2 cans in a 5 gallon bucket and mixed them up in that. Needed a plastic scraper to get it out of the can.

Ok so the day has finally come after over a year of my son working on his second blazer. It's on the road! Had a glitch with the power steering pump going out after 5 miles but other than that it's all painted up nice. I replaced all the light sockets with new ones and put new lenses on the...
Oh geez!!! I am not sure if I'd try it unless it is super cheap!! The kit I got is from Dynomax Part number 89006 Not sure if you can get this out there but it's a start.
I went through the tm and in the axle section with the u joint it does not give a part number for it and I am not sure where else to look. The cap grease zerk is a needle style so just grab that end for your grease gun. Works great.
I just did the exhaust on my one 1009 and the kit I got fit both the truck and the blazer. Passenger side will need cut down as it is to long and hits the transfer case. If you don't have a welder then it can be very difficult to get exhaust to fit. Measure the downpipe drop and see if it is...
I could spend the time digging through some 80s tech manuals I have, but I won't. I've been filling cars from this era and long before for over 30 years this way, and it works. Underfilling would be gallons...this is just a few quarts in a several gallon system. Letting the rad cap, in its set...
Ok before I jump down the tm road...are you talking about the axle shaft u joint that goes in right at the ball joints?

You mean the voltage gauge in the upper cluster? Do you have a 24 volt system still? 2 alternators etc...if so I assume the starter is still 24 volt...if that works you can check the plug that comes out of the gauge for 24 volts...if you have that there a resistor on the back of the guage is...
