Recently met new to the hobby HMMWV owner. I pointed out that they had 3 bias ply and 1 radial on it. I swapped a couple of eight bolt bias plys for the well worn radial. I checked the pressure in their bias plys and all 3 were 47-50 PSI! Lowered the pressure to about 25 PSI. They...

The bumpers are fairly easy to find. I got mine before latest auction and the brackets were a challenge even then. I got some parts on ebay but had to go to Kascar for some. Be sure and order by part number. Brackets cost at least twice what bumper cost!

My brush guard was OD. I think that most of the early ones (angle iron) were OD.

Great advice! I dropped the lock washer in the hub but able to fish it out with some wire. Not a happy time. Ted: what would happen if it stayed in there?

Just curious, was there any warning before the half shaft went out. What exactly happened? bolts come loose, etc Thanks
