No, I had the 14’s on the truck beforehand. They were getting old and 2 had rotted out so it was time to change. After changing two of them, I decided that was something I never wanted to do again.
The truck is a “toy” (not a working, daily hauler) so the slight decrease of climb on grades...

Re - making your own: I'm sure you can find an OEM one on Ebay easier than making one.... but you may be a great metal worker and this would be an easy cut out.

I checked the JW Speaker site and did not see those same lights... What Model Number/Series are they and/or your source of supply?
Also, any blockage of the air intake on passenger side of front grill from the Whelen light(s)?
