That's correct... comes out of the side of the head on the right near the back and returns to the water pump. They originally used a long 90deg pipe (pointing forward) coming out of the head to clear the firewall and heater box.

Longshot... but I have a nicely built, glass bodied CJ-3A that is ready for road, farm, or trail. Drive train is mostly stock and really runs and drives great. Motor purrs, new NOS exhaust, brakes just redone from one end to the other, new springs, new front seats, 12V upgrade with turn signals...
