I installed the 3.5" Vortex in the bobber tonight. Pulled the stack and clamp off, dropped in the cone, reinstalled the clamp, five minutes tops. You can have a conversation outside the truck at idle without yelling. The whistler is still obnoxiously loud but all the BLAAAAAH is toned down...

I have one of Leo's trucks. What a great guy. I also bought a trailer from him made from the back half of a 715. His son is running a business on the old site now. I dont think there is anything military left. His health is not good but he keeps going.

Its just a plain old Chevy V8 filter. My next oil change I am going to see if the GM 2 qt. filter will fit.
